Principal's Message

Dear JFK Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to John F. Kennedy Junior High School, home of the Knights.  My name is Cristy Goins and I am proud to serve as your Principal for the 2023-2024 school year. For the past 9 years I have served as the Learning Director for JFK, and I am looking forward to serving you this year as principal. Our vision at JFK is to provide a superior education to our students while making their time here memorable. We want all our students to know that they are part of our Knight’s family.

We have a dedicated staff that puts our students at the forefront of decision making. We take the safety and welfare of our students seriously and we take pride in the culture that we have created. We strive to reduce any barriers that may prevent our students from reaching their full potential. We have a wealth of resources, so please reach out if you or your child needs support.

As parents you play a key role in your child’s success. Staying involved is the best way to ensure your child has a great year. We have lots of parent involvement activities planned so I am sure you will find several ways to stay connected. Please take a minute to ensure that you have access to both Parent Vue and Parent Square. Parent Vue will allow you to keep track of your child’s grades and Parent Square will ensure you receive all our notifications. It is our goal to keep you informed about what is happening at our school.

I look forward to a great school year and serving our JFK families.

Thank you,

Cristy Goins

JFK Principal
