Principal's Message

Dear JFK Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to John F. Kennedy Junior High School, the proud home of the Knights! My name is Cristy Goins, and I am honored to be your Principal for the 2024-2025 school year. After serving as the Learning Director at JFK for nine years, I am excited to embark on my second year as Principal.

At JFK, our vision is to deliver an exceptional education while ensuring that each student's time here is unforgettable. We are committed to fostering a sense of belonging within our Knight’s family.

Our dedicated staff is focused on prioritizing the needs of our students. We are committed to maintaining a safe environment and nurturing a positive culture. We work diligently to remove any obstacles that may hinder our students' success, and we offer a variety of resources to support both students and families. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you need assistance.

As parents, your involvement is crucial to your child's success. Staying engaged is one of the best ways to support a positive school experience. We have numerous opportunities for parent involvement, and I encourage you to participate in these activities. Make sure you have access to both Parent Vue and Parent Square: Parent Vue helps you monitor your child’s grades, while Parent Square keeps you updated with important school notifications.

I am looking forward to a fantastic school year and the opportunity to serve our JFK community.

Thank you,

Cristy Goins

JFK Principal
