Principal's Message

Dear JFK Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to John F. Kennedy Junior High School—the proud home of the Knights! My name is Cristy Goins, and I am honored to serve as your Principal for the 2025–2026 school year. As I begin my third year as principal at John F. Kennedy Junior High School, I am proud of the continued growth, collaboration, and commitment that define our Knight community. Together, we remain focused on fostering academic excellence, belonging, and personal growth for every student.

At JFK, our mission is to cultivate a supportive and challenging learning environment where every student is empowered to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. We are dedicated to enhancing education through engaging instruction, strong relationships, and high expectations.

Our staff is deeply committed to meeting the needs of all students by maintaining a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment. We work hard to remove barriers that may impact student success and provide a variety of supports for both students and families. Please know that our doors are always open—don’t hesitate to reach out if we can assist you in any way.

Family engagement plays a vital role in student achievement. Staying connected is one of the most effective ways to support your child’s success. I encourage you to get involved in our school community and to stay informed through ParentVUE and ParentSquare—ParentVUE allows you to monitor your child’s academic progress, while ParentSquare keeps you up to date with important school news and events.

I am truly looking forward to a fantastic school year ahead and the continued privilege of serving our wonderful JFK community.

With appreciation,
Cristy Goins
Principal, John F. Kennedy Junior High School
